This is an authentic American made children’s Velocipede Tricycle in working condition. We believe this was made by the Gender Wheel Company in Toledo, Ohio and dates from 1890 to 1900. This model was nicer than most, as it had fenders that covered the rear wheels, which protected the children’s clothing, especially girls with their big dresses. The tricycle has been repainted black with red pin-striping and the the wheels are repainted red. The seating has been reupholstered in red velvet. This would make a great display piece for a restaurant or a Doll collector.

Very good condition with paint and upholstery restoration about 10 years ago. Original solid rubber wheels have some flat spots.
