This is splendid Folk Art piece of a Pheasant beginning to take flight. We think this was originally part of a trade sign or an artist piece. It is handmade and you can see how they hammered the iron metal to shape the body and the curve of the wings. Look at the wonderful detail of the feathers and the claws. It rest on a large custom made steel stand.
