This stunning Jay Strongwater Peacock frame is called Daphne. This heavily jeweled work of art is part of his Peacock Collection. As you can see from the photos, the frame consist of two large Peacock tail feathers the encircle the space for your photo. The frame is very reminiscent of the Art Nouveau style from the early 1900’s. Each of the feathers are hand-painted in a deep rich green, turquoise and purple enamel. Just like the iridescent plumage of real peacocks, these tail feathers are shimmering with Swarovski Crystals, cabochons and gemstones. Even more sensational are the Peacock Eye of each feather. All contain a large pear shaped stone in a splendid amethyst color.
The leg on the reverse of the frame consist of a single Peacock feather. The colorful and graceful support is just as majestic as the front. The hinged openwork panel on the back is filled with a wavy zigzag pattern in a two-tone bronze color. This is where you’ll find the Jay Strongwater signature plaque.
This lovely Jay Strongwater Peacock frame is a large tabletop photo frame. It would be perfect for a traditional or a modern home setting.
